A modern airplane should be built with modern technology. Carbon fiber-epoxy aircraft construction offers unparalleled strength, durability, corrosion and fatigue-resistance. Despite high material and labor costs, carbon fiber construction gets more and more application. Due to its advantages, carbon fiber construction is widely adopted for all new military and commercial aircraft instead of prior aluminum & rivet construction.
Repair costs with carbon fibre construction are typically far less than those for conventional metal or tube and cloth aircraft. Repairs can be locally and immediately performed around the country.
The CT is finished in a two-part polyurethane paint which is very UV resistant. Beautiful and easy to take care of, the CT polyurethane finish will last years when properly maintained.
